Since the day they met performing in
the musical “Sweet Charity” in 1970, the marriage of William and Sue Wills has revolved around the world of theatre.
From 1978 – 1997, they operated a theatre company in Ocean City, MD where they produced and performed in over 4,000 presentations with their three children;Jennifer, Dan, and Rebecca.
Since 1997, they have traveled to over
70 % of the U.S. giving over 5, 400 performances of these unique interpretations, which they have also researched and written. Overall William and Sue are in their 48th year as working actors, a feat few have achieved. They are not impersonators, but using dialects, emotions, and costumes, these dramatically read dialogues humanize the names in our history books by showing the strengths and weaknesses, triumphs and failures of our First Couples.
“Congress should declare them a living national monument.” is how one patron described his feelings.
